Brenda Rasmussen
President and CEO
Ms. Rasmussen is the founder, President, Chief Executive
Officer. Ms. Rasmussen is an Accredited Rehabilitation
Professional (ARP), holds a Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CCRC) designation and has over 20 years experience
in the rehabilitation industry. Ms. Rasmussen founded
her first company, The Disability Management Group (“DMG”),
in 1990. Work Able was founded by Ms. Rasmussen in 1993.
Ms. Rasmussen has served on numerous committees, consulted
to various government and private organizations, and
was Chairperson for the Government of Ontario Task Force
on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Providers.
Paul
Godard
Chief
Financial Officer
Mr. Godard joins Alegro with over 20 years of management
experience, most recently in the position of Managing
Director of Shouldice Hospital, where he was responsible
for the financial leadership of the company. Prior to
2006, Mr. Godard provided business advisory services
to small and medium businesses, specializing in strategic
planning and sourcing conventional bank debt and equity
financing. He has held executive positions for Business
Development Bank of Canada, Manitoba Capital Fund, the
Claims Network Inc., and Barclay’s Bank of Canada.
Mr. Godard is a Chartered Accountant and received a
Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of
Commerce (Honours), both from the University of Manitoba.
Katherine Badali
Chief
Operating Officer
Ms. Badali holds a Masters Degree in Health Sciences
and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
She has over 25 years experience in health service delivery
in Canada, has held numerous leadership positions in
health service delivery organizations, and provided
senior policy and consulting services to government
agencies, regulated health professional organizations,
health research entities, and health service accreditation
bodies.
