Martin Barkin Chairman
of the Board
Dr. Barkin is the Chairman of the Board of Directors
at Alegro Health Corp. He currently serves as a director
for Allon Therapeutics, a TSX listed biotechnology company
and sits on the Advisory Board for Viventia Biotech.
Dr. Barkin is also a professor in the Faculty of Medicine
at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Surgery
as well as the Department of Health Administration.
From 1993 to 2007 Dr. Barkin was the President and CEO
of DRAXIS Health Inc., as well as a Director of several
TSX and NASDAQ listed companies. Dr. Barkin served as
the Deputy Minister of Health, Ontario, from 1987 to
1991 and received the Queen Elizabeth ll Silver Jubilee
Award.
Brenda Rasmussen

Ms.
Rasmussen is the founder, President, Chief Executive
Officer. Ms. Rasmussen is an Accredited Rehabilitation
Professional (ARP), holds a Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CCRC) designation and has over 20 years experience
in the rehabilitation industry. Ms. Rasmussen founded
her first company, The Disability Management Group (“DMG”),
in 1990. Work Able was founded by Ms. Rasmussen in 1993.
Ms. Rasmussen has served on numerous committees, consulted
to various government and private organizations, and
was Chairperson for the Government of Ontario Task Force
on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Providers.
Steven
Goldman
Mr.
Goldman is a founding member in 1998 of the Toronto
litigation law firm of Goldman Rosen LLP, and continues
to practice law, specializing commercial reorganizations
and restructurings. He is also currently the President
of Speedy Corporation and Minute Corporation which operates
a franchise system of 155 auto service shops across
Canada.
Mr. Goldman graduated from Carleton University in 1976
(B.A., President’s Medal) and from Queen’s
University in 1980 (LL.B.) and was called to the Bar
in Ontario in 1982.
Roger
Korman
Dr.
Korman is Chairman and CEO of Aptilon Corporation. Before
joining Aptilon in 2004, Dr. Korman held senior management
positions around the world for IMS Health. Over his
25 year career, he served as Managing Director of IMS
U.K., President of IMS Canada and Latin America, and
Sr. Vice-president of IMS America.
Dr. Korman obtained a Masters degree in quantitative
research from Temple University and his M.S.S. and Ph.D.
from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and
Social Research.
Bob
Leshchyshen

Bob
Leshchyshen presently holds the position of Director
of Corporate Development, CHF Investor Relations. His
analytical career has spanned more than 30 years with
particular emphasis on the financial sector and special
situations.
Bob
Leshchyshen has extensive research and analytical experience
with several prominent equity research and credit-rating
organizations.
He received a MBA degree from the University of Toronto
in 1975 and received a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
designation in 1990.
Dr.
Robert MacMillan

Dr. MacMillan has been with Medipac International for
the past five years and serves as their medical director,
as well as consulting with a number of other health
insurance companies. From 1982 until 1993, Dr. MacMillan
was with the Ontario public service, initially as Regional
Coroner for Eastern Ontario, then as Assistance Deputy
Minister of Health responsible for Community Health
and eventually Executive Director of the Health Insurance
Division (OHIP). He spent 16 years in family practice
during which time he served a term as President of the
Ontario Medical Association.
A graduate of Queen’s University, he received
his Certification in Family Medicine in 1973.
Michael
O'Keefe
Mr.
O'Keefe has over 35 years of senior management experience
in public, private, and international health care. Mr.
O'Keefe was past Chairman of Canadian Hospitals
Network International, an international health care
management company with projects in the UK and Middle
East. Mr. O'Keefe has held a number of senior positions
in the public and private healthcare sectors. In addition
to holding key positions with private hospitals, Mr.
O’Keefe also held the position of President and
CEO of the Ontario Workers Compensation Board.
Mr. O'Keefe graduated from St. Mary's University in
Halifax, Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree
and from the University of Toronto with a Masters degree
in Hospital Administration.
Kenneth
Pritzker

Dr.
Pritzker has been a Pathologist at Mount Sinai Hospital
since 1972 to present, and served as Chief, Pathology
and Laboratory Medicine from 1986 to 2008. Presently,
Dr. Pritzker is leading Mount Sinai Services, an outreach
vehicle for lab services at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr.
Pritzker is Professor, Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology;
Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Pritzker acts
as consultant in the areas of strategic and operational
advice for health care institutions, pharma, diagnostics
and biotechnology corporations. Dr. Pritzker has extensive
interest in laboratory organization and management directed
towards advancing the practice of pathology and laboratory
medicine in the context of integrated health care.
Dr. Pritzker is a graduate in Medicine from the University
of Toronto from which he also has a Bachelor of Science
(Medicine) degree in Pharmacology. Dr. Pritzker is a
Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
of Canada in Anatomical Pathology.
Gilbert
Sharpe
Mr.
Sharpe is currently a Partner in the law firm of Fasken
Martineau DuMoulin LLP where he specializes in Health
Law. Prior to joining his current law firm in 2006 he
was a partner at Goodman and Carr.
Before entering the private sector, he headed the Legal
Department of the Ontario Ministry of Health for over
20 years.
He holds a Masters in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School
and is Professor (Part-time) in the Faculty of Medicine,
University of Toronto and in the Faculty of Health Sciences
of McMaster University.
